Telehealth
We are pleased to offer Telehealth services. We are now able to take Tricare insurance which will mitigate the out of pocket expenses for our patients. To schedule some time to try out this new service, Contact Me.
1. Individual Therapy for Children
Bringing a child to therapy is beneficial because it can improve the child’s overall emotional wellbeing; children will be taught ways to improve their relationships and help cope with life’s challenges. Whether they need assistance with behavioral, social-emotional, developmental, trauma, or educational difficulties, they will be provided a warm and supportive environment where they will explore their feelings through use of play therapy.
We will be a positive influence for your child by teaching them self regulation, coping skills, and communication skills that can be used in daily life. Parents/guardians are encouraged to be a part of the plan created for their child.
2. Individual Therapy for Adolescents
In these unprecedented times, adolescents and young adults are faced with major influences of social media and technology leading to depressive symptoms and immense pressure academically. Therapy can help adolescents navigate the rapid pace of society’s expectations, while developing a strong sense of self identity.
Through use of Solution-Focused Therapy (creating a path/goals) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) adolescents will be guided to reduce problematic thoughts and feelings by finding ways to enrich their lives academically, socially, and relationally.
3. Adult Therapy
Everyone has their own unique strengths and challenges. Young adults and adults are often experiencing profound changes of transition. Whether it is career, relationship, educational, children leaving the home, or retirement, we are here to help you through these transitions. These life stressors can leave one feeling, depressed, anxious, increase their substance use, and more.
Through use of CBT therapy (helping rid unwanted behaviors and thoughts), these evidence based practices will help guide you to take charge of your life in a direction you want.
